1 Members of the ISID or ISTM must provide their membership numbers.
2 Residents of Latin America/Caribbean can save 40% on the registration fee by registering early.
3 Nurses and Pharmacists must provide proof of their status.
4 Students must provide proof of their status.

For delegates and students, registration fee includes:
Admission to Satellite Symposia; Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception; access to all scientific sessions; access to the commercial exhibition; delegate kit and Congress materials such as the Abstract Book, List of Participants, and Final Program. A 2-year membership in the International Society for Infectious Diseases is also included for delegates only.

For accompanying persons, registration fee includes:
Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception. In order to attend these social events, accompanying persons must be properly registered.

Membership in the International Society for Infectious Diseases
By registering as a delegate and paying the registration fee for the 14th ICID, participants will become Regular Members of the ISID for two years and receive the IJID (International Journal of Infectious Diseases). Therefore it is absolutely necessary to send your complete mailing address.

Confirmation of registration
An official confirmation letter will be sent to all registered participants. All registration fees are in US dollars. If you are faxing your registration form, please do not send the original by mail. We encourage you to use the online registration form. To register several people it is necessary to complete a registration form for each individual person. Registrations without names and complete address will not be processed.

Hotel Reservations
The 14th ICID Housing Office, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, is pleased to offer a selection of official hotels. Hotel reservations can be made online or with the hotel reservation form (pdf). A complete list of available hotels is available.

  • Bank transfers (Registration only): Registrations and hotel reservtions are being handled by two separate offices. Therefore separate payments are required for registrations and hotel reservations. Bank transfers must be made without charges to the beneficiary and in US dollars (US$), to:

    Please include a copy of your bank transfer with your form if faxed.
    Please make sure that your name and address appear clearly on all payment documents. Bank transfers received without the name of the participant cannot be processed.

    A hotel reservation deposit equal to one night room and tax is required to secure your reservation. The hotel reservation deposit will be charged by the assigned hotel. Credit card payment is necessary. After your housing request and credit card details have been received and processed, you will receive a confirmation from the 14th ICID Housing Bureau.
ISID, B.P. Servimed and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau are not responsible for payments not sent as stated above. Do not combine registration fees and hotel deposits. Separate payments are required.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Registrations:
    Registered delegates unable to attend will receive a full refund less a US$ 100.00 administration fee, provided that a written request is received by the Secretariat on or before February 1, 2010. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after
    February 1, 2010.
  • Hotel Reservations:
    A one night hotel deposit must be received in order to secure your hotel reservation. 
    A full refund of the one night deposit will be made for hotel cancellations received by February 1, 2010

    No refunds are possible after this date. All cancellations and changes made before February 1, 2010 should be sent in writing to 14th ICID Housing Office by fax
    (305) 539-3106 or email:  Cancellation and change requests made after February 1, 2010 must be made directly with your assigned hotel.

    Only written requests for cancellations and refunds will be accepted.

On-Site Registration
On-site registrations will be accepted, but Congress materials may be limited. Participants planning to register on-site are advised to arrive early. On-site registration will proceed on a first-come, first-served manner. Please see the time schedule for registration hours.
